Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has suspended Deputy Tehsildar Alamgir and Patwari Lalit Kumar of Bhiwani over delayed property inheritance and incorrect reporting, following a complaint by resident Kamala Devi.
The CM's Window received a complaint and directed a report from the concerned Deputy Tehsildar. Alamgir falsely reported providing a copy of the inheritance to Kamala Devi, leading to their suspension.
Additionally, the Haryana Right to Service Commission imposed a fine of Rs 20,000 on Alamgir and granted Rs 5,000 compensation to the complainant.
The Revenue and Disaster Management Department's Chief Secretary and Finance Secretary were directed to ensure a swift investigation into the matter.
