Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala announced plans for constructing airstrips in Jind and Mewat, marking a significant stride in the state's aviation infrastructure development.

Addressing the media in Uchana, Jind district, on January 2nd, Chautala highlighted the state's comprehensive development during the current government's four-year tenure, emphasizing its success in renewable energy and industrial growth.

These airstrips, to be developed along the Delhi-Katra National Highway, will not only enhance connectivity but also provide substantial opportunities for pilot training.

The government has initiated the process by inviting applications for 200 acres each in Mewat and Jind through the e-Bhoomi portal.
