Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has given administrative approval for special repair and improvement of 9 ODR roads in Panipat district. The project will cost over Rs 19 crore. The roads providing access to market centres, tehsil headquarters, block development headquarters, railway stations etc. are known as Other District Roads (ODR).
While stating this, an official spokesman said that these projects include widening and strengthening of 5.10 km long road from village Binjhol to village Bhadar at an estimated cost of Rs 4.72 crore. Similarly, Rs 1.57 crore has been spent on 2.1 km road from village Jattal to Khukhrana, Rs 2.12 crore on 1.950 km long road from village Hartari to Dahar, Rs 79.17 lakh on 0.930 km long road from village Shondhapur to Binjhol, Rs 3.05 crore on 3.4 km long road from village Siwah to Dadola, Rs 3.05 crore on Panipat road to Kabri, 4.54 crore on 5.640 km road from LOCL refinery via Sithana, Siwah (Phirni) via Nangal Kheri Road, which is 1.800 km long . Rs 65.60 lakh will be spent on strengthening of Barsat Road in Panipat and Rs 1.85 crore.
He further said that this initiative showcases the Haryana Government's commitment towards infrastructure development and will undoubtedly bring substantial benefits to the public by improving the road network and connectivity across the state.
