Yati Narasimhanand, the organiser of the religious gathering in Haridwar that sparked outrage, has been named in the FIR and charged with promoting enmity between different groups and acts prejudicial to harmony

The others named in the FIR are Sagar Sindhu Maharaj, Sadhvi Annapurna, Sant Dharam Das, as well as a Wasim Rizvi aka Jitendra Tyagi. All five have been charged with promoting enmity between religious groups and defiling a place of worship.

The FIR was filed on December 22 after some Hindu religious leaders urged people to take up arms against Muslims calling for a genocide during a 'dharam sansad' in Haridwar from December 17-19.
