The Gujarat high court has ruled that the PMO need not furnish the degree and post-graduate degree certificate of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, ANI reported.

The court even set aside an order by the Central Information Commission which had directed the Gujarat University to give information on Prime Minister's post-graduate degree in 2016.

The Gujarat High Court also penalized Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for asking for the details. It has directed Kejriwal to deposit ₹ 25,000 with the Gujarat State Legal Services Authority.
