After the recent cancellation of Gujarat panchayat junior clerk exam due to question paper leak, the state government on Tuesday announced introduction of stringent laws to curb the malpractice.

A bill in this regard will be introduced in the Gujarat Assembly in the upcoming Budget session, senior minister Rushikesh Patel has said, according to a report by The Indian Express.

Notably, the Gujarat State Law Commission headed by a retired judge of the Supreme Court had submitted a report to the state government in July last year to bring in a law to check the menace of paper leak in government recruitment examinations.
