Ahead of the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday announced that a grand statue of the iconic freedom fighter will be installed at Delhi's India Gate.
Netaji's grand statue, made of granite, will be installed at India Gate, the Prime Minister Modi tweeted on Friday alongwith an image of the statue.

The announcement came 2 days before the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji on January 23.
Till the statue is built, it will be represented by a hologram bust of Netaji at the same place. PM Modi will inaugurate the hologram on Netaji's birth anniversary on January 23.
