Congress leader Rahul Gandhi mocked Prime Minister Narendra Modi over his recent statements in an interview that he "was not biologically born".

While addressing a rally in Delhi's Dilshad Garden on Thursday, Rahul, referring to the statement, said, "If one day, Kanhaiya meets me privately and tells me in confidence that I am not born biologically, I was sent by God. I would have told him not to say this outside. But the country's prime minister openly says in an interview that he is not biologically (born)."

"He says that he is sent by god to fulfill a divine mission. If anyone had said this, then what do you think would have happened? Many people would have avoided him. Yet, some supporters are praising him for this statement."

While responding to a question about his strong stamina, Modi in a recent interview with News 18 Hindi outlet said," I am convinced I am not born biologically. I am getting this energy as God sent me to do his work.”
