Amid paper leak row, NTA postpones CSIR-UGC-NET exam

Days after cancelling the UGC-NET exam over paper leak reports, the National Testing Agency on 21st of June postponed the Joint CSIR-UGC-NET examination that was scheduled from 25th June to 27th June.

The agency said that it is postponing the exam due to 'unavoidable circumstances' and logistical issues, and added that the revised exam will be announced soon.


The UGC-NET exam is conducted to determine the eligibility of candidates for junior fellowship programmes, and admission to PhD in universities and college, the CSRI-UGC-NET determines the eligibility of candidates for junior fellowship programmes in science subjects.
