Delhi Police has asked all inspector-level officials who are on night duty to share their live locations as part of a new set of rules, according to media reports.

All Station House Officers (SHO), Anti-Terrorist Officers (ATO) and Inspector of Investigation (Bravo) have also been asked to inform the Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) before leaving the police station, as per reports.

Officers have to share their live locations between 12 midnight to 4am and cannot leave their police stations without DCP's permission.

The decision has reportedly been taken in the wake of the death of a 20-year-old woman after she was hit and dragged by a car for 13 km in the national capital
