A new angle has emerged in the case of a woman dying after allegedly being dragged under a car for 13 km in Delhi.

After it came to light that the victim was with a friend at the time of the accident, the manager of a hotel in the national capital has come forward.

The hotel manager said that the victim and friend were seen fighting before leaving together on a two-wheeler. He said, "The girls were fighting inside the room. So, they were asked to leave as they were disturbing other customers. They went downstairs and fought there as well. They were hurling abuses at each other."

On questions whether some boys accompanying them were also part of the altercation, the manager said, "Only the girls were fighting with each other. The neighbours and people nearby also tried to stop them but the girls abused them as well. Finally, they rode away on the scooter."
