Delhi teen arrested for urinating on retired BHU professor on train

Railway Police officers have arrested a Delhi teen for allegedly urinating on a retired Banaras Hindu University professor on a moving train.

An RPF officer from Jhansi said the suspect was allegedly drunk and causing a nuisance on the train. He was removed from the upper berth after urinating on the professor and his wife. The 19-year-old was arrested under Section 145 of the Railways Act.

Police identified the suspect as Ritesh Kumar, a resident of Delhi’s Qutub Vihar locality, as per Hindustan Times. He will now be produced before a magistrate.

Kumar was onboard B3 coach of the Uttar Pradesh Sampark Kranti Express. He boarded the train at Mahoba district, while the elderly couple got on nearly 45 minutes later at Harpalpur station.
