Delhi bans all construction activities as air quality worsens in NCR

Non-essential construction work and demolition in the NCR region were banned after Air quality levels worsened in the national capital on Sunday. AQI was recorded at 447, as the pollution level in Delhi entered the 'severe' category Last month, the Centre's air quality panel directed authorities to impose a ban on all construction and demolition activities in Delhi-NCR, except in essential projects.
