A fire broke out in the main building compound near the Pizza Hut outlet in Yamuna Vihar, northeast Delhi, on Monday evening. Officials said authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.

The Delhi Fire Services (DFS) reported receiving a call about the fire at 8:55 pm from a building in C-Block, which has a basement, ground floor, and two upper floors. Three fire tenders were dispatched to the location and successfully brought the fire under control.

Pizza Hut issued a statement clarifying, “Yesterday’s unfortunate fire did not occur inside the Pizza Hut Yamuna Vihar restaurant. It broke out in the main building compound outside the outlet, and authorities are investigating the root cause. None of our customers were harmed. Our store team members, who bravely helped to control the fire, are recovering well after timely treatment. The team on-ground is extending full cooperation to the authorities in their investigation.”
