Delhi recorded a big spike in Covid-19 infections with 290 cases on Sunday. The positivity rate in the national Capital has gone up to 0.55%.
The Delhi government has activated the graded action plan prepared earlier this year to tackle surges in infections.
A night curfew has been announced from today. It will be in effect from 11pm to 5am.
Here are the list of exemptions from the night curfew in Delhi:
- Those travelling on foot to buy essentials like vegetables, milk and other household products from neighbourhood shops.
- People going to and returning from airports, railway stations and bus stops with valid tickets.
- Print and television journalists.
- Delivery persons carrying food or medical products.
- Shops selling vegetables, dairy products, meat.
- Pharmacies and drug stores.
- People travelling to get the Covid vaccine will be exempted after they produce a copy of their vaccine appointment.
