Congress MP Santokh Singh Chaudhary passed away after suffering a heart attack during Bharat Jodo Yatra on Saturday, as per the ANI.
76-year-old politician was rushed to the hospital after he complained of uneasiness in Punjab’s Phillaur, however, he was declared brought dead.
Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann confirmed the tragic incident in a Twitter post.
The Bharat Jodo Yatra resumed on Saturday in Punjab after a one day break Friday.
