'Come to Punjab, we will protect you': Singer Rabbi Shergill's message to Bilkis Bano

Singer Rabbi Shergill, who wrote a song titled 'Bilquis' on the horrific gangrape of Bilkis Bano and the murder of her family, has asked 2002 Gujarat riots surivor to move to Punjab after 11 men who rape were set free by the Gujarat govt on August 15 this year. 

Shergill told NDTV that Bilkis would be safe in Punjab and that the Sikh community will protect her till the last drop of their blood. 

He also said that without justice India will become a hollow society.  There is a crisis of morality and leadership in the country, he added.

The 11 men convicted to raping Bilkis Bano and murdering her family during the riots in 2002 were released from Godhar jail under Gujarat govt's special remission policy.
