Clashes were reported in Rajasthan's Suryanagari late monday night. Reports say flag of a particular community was replaced with the another's, prompting clashes at Balmukand Bissa circle. Stone pelting was reported in the area too.
The police reached the spot to disperse the crowd. According to reports many police personnel were injured in the process.
The district administration has stopped internet services as a precautionary measure in view of the situation. Internet services will be suspended in Jodhpur city on May 3, 1 pm onwards, according to reports.

The order for internet suspension across Jodhpur district has been issued by Jodhpur Divisional Commissioner Himanshu Gupta.
