Centre sacks NTA chief Subodh Kumar amid NEET-NET row

Amid the ongoing NEET-NET paper leak row, the Centre has sacked the chief of the National Testing Agency (NTA). Subodh Kumar Singh was the director general of the NTA. 

Singh has now been replaced by retired Indian Administration Service (IAS) officer Pradeep Singh Kharola. 

Kharola is the Chairman and Managing Editor of the India Trade Promotion Organisation. He has been given the additional charge as the Director General of the NTA "till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders".
