The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has firmly dismissed allegations made by popular YouTuber Zaki Saudagar regarding a supposed leak of the 2025 board exams.
Saudagar, whose channel boasts over 600,000 subscribers and specializes in Physics and Physical Education content for Classes 11 and 12, asserted that the Class 12 Physical Education exam paper, conducted on February 17, had been leaked through the messaging app Telegram.
He claimed to have received a link to a private Telegram group purportedly sharing the question paper the night before the exam.
In response, CBSE issued an official statement categorically denying these claims. The board emphasized that such allegations are unfounded and are likely intended to induce unnecessary panic among students. Assuring the public of its vigilance, CBSE reiterated that it is actively monitoring the situation and is prepared to take action against those disseminating false information.
The board further highlighted the implementation of stringent measures to maintain the integrity of the examination process. It cautioned students against engaging with or spreading such misinformation, warning that those found guilty would face repercussions under CBSE's Unfair Means rules and relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The CBSE board exams commenced on February 15, 2025, with over 42 lakh students participating at more than 7,800 centers nationwide and abroad. Specifically, 24.12 lakh Class 10 students are sitting exams in 84 different subjects, while over 17.88 lakh Class 12 students are tackling exams across 120 subjects. Board officials remain committed to ensuring a smooth and fair examination experience for all candidates.
