Body of Indian student who died in Ukraine to be brought back on Sunday

The body of Naveen Shekharappa, an Indian student killed in Ukraine, will reach Bengaluru on Sunday, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai informed the media on Friday. 

A fourth year medical student in Kharkiv city, Naveen was killed on March 1 when he left his bunker to get some food, water and exchange money. According to reports the 22-year-old was standing in queue when he was killed in Russian shelling

The Ministry of External Affairs had said on Thursday that over 22,500 Indians have been brought back from Ukraine and there are still people in isolated pockets who want to come back.
