Bizarre likely has a new taste: In Andhra Pradesh, it certainly does have the bitter taste of overindulgence.

On the just commenced Makar Sankranti, a family from Andhra Pradesh's Narsapuram treated their future son-in-law with 365 different types of food.

The reason, according to a relative of the bride named Kundavi, was to show love to her would-be groom before the scheduled wedding. 365 dishes were prepared to represent the 365 days in a year.

The pre-wedding festivities, were reportedly arranged for the groom Saikrishna, by the bride’s grandparents. 

Pictures from the event show, 30 different varieties of curries, rice, pulihora, biryani, traditional Godavari sweets, hot and cold beverages, biscuits, fruits, cakes.
