Scholar-activist Anand Teltumbde accused in the Bhima Koregaon case was released from a Navi Mumbai prison on Saturday.

On Friday the Supreme Court rejected the NIA's plea challenging his bail.

Earlier this week, the Bombay High Court had made a prima facie observation that there
was no evidence for the offence of terrorist activity against Teltumbde.

73-year-old Teltumbde was arrested in April 2020 in a case related to alleged inflammatory speeches made at the Elgar Parishad conclave held in Pune on December 31, 2017.
