A woman has accused Bengaluru airport authorities of "humiliating" her by making her take her clothes off.

Krishani Gadhvi, a musician, reportedly said on 3 January 2023 that she was asked to remove her shirt, and it was humiliating to stand at the security checkpoint wearing only a camisole, getting the kind of attention that no woman wants.

In response, Kempegowda International airport officials regretted the "hassle" and said that this should not have happened.

They said that the issue has been escalated to the CISF, and also asked for Gadhvi's contact details for more information.
