As rains continue to batter the city of Bengaluru, several low lying areas have witnessed waterlogged roads, damaged vehicles and jammed public transport.
Heavy rains broke out in the city on Wednesday evening causing massive flooding in the east, south and central part of the city.
The weather department has issued a yellow alert suggesting heavy to very heavy rains in the next three days.

The city had witnessed torrential rains-induced floods in the month of September as well which resulted in closure of private schools and workplaces switching to work from home.
