A Bengaluru-based family took to Twitter and alleged that their pet dog was not allowed to fly in an Air India flight despite them having a boarding pass for the dog.
In a video shared on Twitter, a man, identifying himself as Sachin Shenoy, shared his ordeal as his pet, Fluffy and other family members could be seen standing beside him as well.
Shenoy claimed in the video that despite Fluffy clearing all checks, getting a boarding pass from the airlines and not creating any nuisance, the pilot of their flight denied the pet to fly onboard.
As the video went viral online, with many people questioning Air India, the airlines responded to Shenoy and said that "it's never their intention to cause any inconvenience to any of the passengers".
