An under-construction Metro pillar collapsed in Bengaluru on 10 January 2023, causing the death of at least 2 persons.
A woman and her 3-year-old son were crushed to death under the structure, according to reports. The woman's husband and daughter were injured in the mishap.
The family was passing through the area on a two-wheeler when the pillar caved-in. The victims were rushed to a hospital but died during treatment.
