Indian Army has unveiled a new combat uniform on the occasion of 74th Army Day.

The new uniform is based on a 'digital disruptive' pattern to make it suitable for all terrains, the colours however will remain the same.

It has been made from lightweight fabric that will dry quickly and will be more comfortable in both summers and winters.

Army's new combat uniform has been designed with tbe help of National Institute of Fashion Technology after going through options of 15 patterns, eight designs, and four fabrics.

According to reports, soldiers will not be required to tuck their combat shirts anymore and the trousers will have more pockets.

The new uniform will not be available in the open market.

Before this the Indian Army has changed its uniform thrice.
