In a shocking incident in Delhi's posh Khan Market, a Zomato delivery executive set his vehicle on fire after he was allegedly slapped by a policeman for staring at a woman.

Upset over the alleged assault, deliveryman Nadeem returned to the market a day later and set fire to his bike in front of the police station. He allegedly pelted stones at police personnel as well.

In the video which has gone viral, the delivery executive can be seen hurling insults as he is taken into custody. He was reportedly in an inebriated state when he vandalized police property.

The episode reportedly began on October 22 when the delivery person was at a Khan Market restaurant to collect an order. A woman present near the food outlet accused him of staring at her and called the police.

Taking cognizance of the matter, the police allegedly slapped the delivery man though no official complaint was registered against him.

He returned the next day and committed the violent acts in an apparent bid to exact revenge.
