Air India passengers who were stranded in Russia for around 2 days finally reached their destination in the US on June 8, 2023. The flight landed in San Francisco at 12:07 am local time.
Air India said that all the passengers were provided with "maximum on-ground assistance with clearance formalities and other necessary support".
They were stranded in the small Russian town of Magadan on June 6 after their flight developed an engine problem and had to make an emergency landing.
