Air India Express flight forced to abandon journey, return soon after take-off due to computer glitch

An Air India Express flight was forced to return shortly after take-off due to a technical glitch on 23 January 2023. The flight was headed to Muscat, Oman from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

The flight, IX 549, which took off from the state capital of Kerala at 8:30 am returned to the international airport at 9:17 am after one of the pilots noticed a technical glitch in the on-board computer system.

Air India Express said that it was arranging another flight for the passengers.
