Days after the Indian Army and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army held the 19th round of military dialogue, the two sides held major-general level talks to discuss outstanding problems along the Line of Actual Control on August 18, Hindustan Times reported quoting officials.
The talks led by different major generals and their PLA counterparts, were reportedly held at separate locations in eastern Ladakh.
These talks come ahead of PM Modi and Xi Jinping's possible meeting on the sidelines of the upcoming BRICS summit this week.
Last week's military dialogue had concluded without any significant outcome.
