1,563 students were scheduled to retake the NEET-UG retest on Sunday. But, as many as 750 students did not appear for the examination, the National Testing Agency (NTA) said in a statement.

Only  813 students gave the retest and 750 skipped the examination.

On June 13, an NTA notification stated that a re-examination would be conducted for the affected candidates on June 23, Sunday, between 2 to 5 PM. The result is tentatively scheduled for June 30.

The 1,563 students were allotted compensatory grace marks for the loss of time due to the late commencement of the examination in six centres across India.
