In a shocking case, an elderly woman was attacked by more than 20 monkeys at her home when she was cleaning dishes in Telangana on March 3, 2023, a report by India Today said.
As per the report, the 70-year-old identified as Chataraboina Narsavva, succumbed to her injuries on March 4 while undergoing treatment at the hospital. She belonged to Ramareddy village in the Kamareddy district.
The victim had suffered serious injuries on her body including her chest, back and limbs.
Citing multiple reports, India Today said that Narsavva's neighbours shut themselves inside their houses until the monkeys fled.
