Star India defender Sandesh Jhingan will play in the Croatian top-tier league Prva HNL after completing a move from ATK Mohun Bagan to HNK Sibenik. Sandesh was named India’s footballer of the year in July and is currently in Croatia.

CEO of HNK Sibenik, Francisco Cardona said that though the adaptation process might take him a few weeks but they are confident that with his quality and leadership, Sandesh will become an important member of the team.

21-year-old Sandesh finished as runners-up twice with Kerala blasters in the Indian Super League. After spending six years there, moved to ATK Mohun Bagan in 2020 after missing the previous season due to injury.
