India has recognized that to be a major player on the world stage, it has to have a vigorous space program. Also, it does not want to lose out to China in space sector development. India has thus begun to pay greater attention to space exploration including through its Moon and Mars missions. COVID-19 may have delayed many space programs, but there’s plenty to look forward to.
