IND vs NZL: India conquer 2nd Test, register thundering 372-run win

Needing 400 on the final day with 5 wickets in hand, it was a matter of time before Team India polished off the Kiwi tail in 45 mins to thrash the World Test Champions by a massive margin of 372 runs. Team India thus won the 2-match Test series 1-0 before their all-important tour of South Africa. This is the highest victory margin at home for India in Test cricket history and the biggest defeat for New Zealand in the longest format.

Chasing a mammoth total of 540 runs, the under-pressure New Zealand team was quickly brought down by the dominating Indian side. Jayant Yadav starred as he picked up 4 wickets on the 4th day. Yadav earned Rachin Ravinder, Kyle Jamieson, Tim Southee, and Somerville's wickets. While R Ashwin also picked 4 wickets in the innings, Axar Patel grabbed one.

With 60 off 92, Daryll Mitchell was the highest scorer in the 2nd innings for New Zealand.
