According to an IDC report, Samsung, Huawei and Apple dominated smartphone sales for Q2 2020. While Samsung and Huawei captured 20% each of the market, Apple came in third with a 13.5% market share. However, while Samsung and Huawei both saw a dip in smartphone sales as compared to Q2 2019, Apple witnessed a steadier period, having shipped 38.3 million phones in Q2 2020, versus 38.5 million units in the same period last year. It's worth noting that Apple's iPhone 11 was the best selling phone in the first half of 2020, shipping 37.7 million units.
