Moeen Ali, Moeen Ali retires from Test cricket,

England all-rounder Moeen Ali on Monday announced his retirement from Test cricket. 

He told the England and Wales Cricket Board that he just felt like he was done, especially during the India series. The 5th match was called off and Moeen said that while he wanted to reach a few milestones, he was content with calling time on his career. 

The 34-year-old made his Test debut in 2014 against Sri Lanka and went on to represent his country 64 times. He took 195 wickets, including five five-wicket hauls and a hat-trick against South Africa in 2017, and scored five centuries.

Moeen Ali is currently playing for CSK in the UAE leg of IPL 2021.
