While there are plenty of jokes about people from the fashion world not eating, many fashion brands have been trying to explore the food market. Dolce & Gabbana often features food-inspired prints on their clothes and has even launched designer kettles and juicers in 2016. Several brands run their own eateries too. For example, Prada is opening the second outlet of its historic Milanese bakery Marchesi 1824 this year; Ralph Lauren runs multiple bars and restaurants across the world; Giorgio Armani even has his own monogrammed chocolate called Armani Dolci; Gucci's luxury restaurant in Florence is headed by Michelin star chef Massimo Bottura. Even a more high-street brand like H&M's Arket serves a food menu designed by a prominent Nordic chef Martin Berg. Closer home, FabIndia too runs its own spin on the edible fashion concept with its Fabcafe spaces all over India.
