Hit for consumers: Hat-trick of hikes for cooking gas , LPG cylinder prices hiked twice in 15 days

Cost of an LPG cylinder is up Rs 50 in just 15 days. Cooking gas has become more expensive as  LPG prices have been hiked for a third consecutive month. LPG prices have been raised by Rs 25/cylinder for domestic use. A cooking gas cylinder in Delhi will now cost Rs 884.5 for domestic use. 

The price of cooking gas had gone up by ₹25 per cylinder on August 18. Earlier in July, the price of cooking gas was increased by ₹25.50. This year price of cooking gas is up by Rs 180/cylinder.

Along with this, the price of commercial LPG cylinder has also been increased. With the hike of Rs 73.50, the new cylinder will cost Rs 1692.5 for commercial use.
