To give tourism a boost and revive traditional cultural activities, the historic Badamwari garden in Srinagar reopened for visitors on the 21st of March.
The garden, which is located in the foothills of Koh-e-Maraan in Srinagar city, is known for its almond bloom.
To announce the reopening, a ceremony was organised, where traditional folk songs and dances were performed.
The famous garden was closed last year, despite due to the Covid-19 outbreak. As per the tourism secretary, the garden will remain open for visitors till the blossom lasts.
