The Haryana govt has imposed further curbs in Gurugram, Faridabad, Ambala, Panchkula and Sonipat - the 5 districts that have the highest numer of Covid-19 infections.
The new restrictions will be effective from January 2 to January 12.
All cinema halls, theatres, multiplexes, sports complex, stadiums and swimming pools will remain closed in these districts. Sporting facilities however will remain open for training of sportspersons.
All offices, govt and private, have been advised to function at 50% capacity. Bars and restaurants are allowed to operate with 50% seating capacity.
Malls and markets are allowed to remain open till 5 pm.

Only fully vaccinated people will be allowed entry into malls, markets, parks, religious places, public places, banks etc.
In the remaining districts of Haryana, gatherings of more than 100 people will be allowed only with prior permission of the deputy commissioner.
Cinema halls in malls as well as standalone ones, restaurants, bars including those in hotels and malls, gyms, spas and clubhouses, restaurants, and bars of golf courses have been allowed to open with 50% seating capacity
Swimming pools in the 17 districts will be allowed to open after adopting requisite social distancing norms, regular sanitisation and Covid-appropriate behaviour.
Night curfew shall continue to remain in place from 11pm to 5am across the state.
A fine of ₹500 shall be imposed on anyone who violates the norms or does not adhere to Covid-19 protocols. Any institution violating the rules will be fined ₹5000.
