Harvey Weinstein's sex abuse victims to receive $17 mn: Court

A US bankruptcy judge has reportedly approved The Weinstein Companies liquidation plan setting aside $17 million for women who accused Hollywood mogul Harvey Weinstein of sexual misconduct. Weinstein was sentenced to 23 years in prison in March 2020 on charges of criminal sexual act and rape. Reports add the approved plan also provides $9.7 million for legal costs.
