Indian pharmaceutical company Hamdard Laboratories is beginning clinical trials of two of its immunity-boosting medicines, to test the efficacy of using them in treating the deadly Covid-19 infection.
According to a statement by the company, they have received the necessary approvals to begin the trials of their drugs, Infuza and Kulzam.
Clinical trials will be conducted at the HAH Centenary Hospital in New Delhi, led by researchers from the Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research.
The study has been approved by the Ministry of AYUSH and by the Institutional Ethics Committee of the hospital.
