While the world at large is wary of the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, guess who is rushing in to cosy up to the extremist group? Yes, Pakistan.
The country's foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi is scheduled to land in Kabul on Sunday to hold talks with the Taliban leaders, Afghanistan's Tolo News agency has reported.

This will be the first visit by any foreign leader to the Taliban after the group took over Kabul in a stunning blitz.
Reports said that Qureshi will hold talks with the Taliban on new government formation in Afghanistan as Islamabad wants to play a role in Afghanistan under the extremist group.
Qureshi on Saturday reportedly held telephonic conversations with his counterparts in Russia, Germany, Turkey, the Netherlands, and Belgium over Afghanistan.
The Taliban are trying to cobble up a new government in the war-torn country and had earlier this week also held talks with former president Hamid Karzai.
