Govt schemes for all without religious bias: PM at AMU

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday praised AMU's contribution towards nation building. The Prime Minister addressed the university's centenary celebrations as the chief guest. The PM said that in today's India, every section of the society, irrespective of religion, are given equal opportunities and facilities. The PM also lauded AMU's soft power in enhancing India's ties with many countries. PM Modi is the first prime minister to speak live at an AMU event since Lal Bahadur Shastri attended the convocation in 1964.
