Global CEOs bet on growth, worried about cyber security

A Global CEO survey undertaken by PwC shows confidence is coming back but risks are also on the rise .  

  • 76% of the CEO’s surveyed expect an improvement in global economic outlook
  • 14% expect a decline while 10% expect the global growth to remain muted 
  • CEOs in the technology sector that remain most optimistic at 45%
  • Least amount of optimism seen in the transport (29%) and hospitality sector (27%) who are least confident about their ability to grow revenues over the next 12 months. 
  • Cyber threats remain the top concern ex-pandemic for global CEOs 

PwC surveyed 5,050 CEOs in 100 countries in January and February 2021.
