Gay English priest set to return to ministerial duties

Former vicar at the St Mary with All Souls, Kilburn Reverand Andrew Foreshew-Cain is set to return to the ministry after being ousted unceremoniously in 2017 for marrying his partner in 2014. After being “blacklisted” from finding another job he will take on the role of chaplain of Lady Margaret Hall, a college at Oxford University this autumn. Earlier in April, he launched the Campaign for Equal Marriage in the Church of England along with a coalition of LGBTQ clergy members.
