Gautam Gambhir stocked medicines illegally: Drug Controller to HC

In a blow to BJP MP Gautam Gambhir, the Drug Controller on Thursday told the Delhi HC that his foundation has been found guilty of unauthorisedly stocking and giving Fabiflu drug to Covid-19 patients. The Drug Controller also informed the court that action will be taken without delay against Gambhir's foundation, dealers and other cases brought to its notice for hoarding the drug.
The Delhi Police had questioned Gambhir, Youth Congress chief Srinivas BV and others in relation with the aid they provided to people at the height to the second wave of Covid-19.
They were questioned on how they procured drugs and oxygen cylinders to help people when there was acute shortage of these.
